
Program Overview
The Associate in Arts (AA) Digital Media is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Media Arts or related fields.
This program combines a strong foundation in general education with introductory coursework in digital media production, design and communication. Students develop essential creative and technical skills using industry-standard tools while learning the principles of storytelling, design theory and digital content creation.

Courses
AA degrees require 36 hours of general education courses and 24 credit hours of electives, for a total of 60 credit hours. Students interested in Digital Media are encouraged to enroll in Digital Media and Arts courses for their electives. These courses are required by most universities offering Digital Media programs of study.
