Overview
The Mechatronics Certificate provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards, relevant technical knowledge and the necessary skills to prepare for further education or a career in manufacturing. It emphasizes how technical-skill proficiency contributes to academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning, problem-solving skills, general employability, technical adaptability and occupation-specific skillsets across all aspects of the manufacturing field.
The content includes, but is not limited to, maintenance techniques, computer-aided drafting and design, technical communication, maintenance and operation of various industrial components, quality control and testing, materials-handling protocols and proper usage of tools and instrumentation.
